David F Bello has a new album titled "The War In Iraq" available only as a free digital download at davidfbello.tumblr.com. Modern life is a joke as anxiety and wit are woven seemlessly through 15 solid tracks of male pattern beardness lofi as a last resort lonely blown out pop jams. This should fucking excite you.
Bombs Away! & Enzuigiri have finally released that fabled split tape with a running time paralel to last time you rubbed one out while on the clock, getting paid for whatever. "Limited" to 100, tapes are purple whether they like it or not, and hands stamped rice paper covers. Available from Brutal Americana. I don't even have one so you should pick one up before reason sets in. Bombs Away!'s debut EP "Do You Know Where Josh Bell Is?" is still available on piss-painted CD-R from the OHYM webstore. You can also download it for free if you're not into gettin' physical.
Thanks to everyone who came out to The Handsome Woman last night (11.21.09). All the bands were great and vegan thanksgiving was off the hook. Thanks to Rachel & Tim for making it possible. If you missed it you were somewhere else. The Pulverizer's maiden voyage was successful and OHYO playing with one brother short was better than expected. Mike Merli filmed the whole thing for his project "A Knee Jerk Reaction to Whatever" and will be released on DVD-R packaged something like 1996 webpage. Broken jpegs and all.
You're going to die someday, better charge your iPod.
Its almost the 16th but I'm not sweating it either. To the left you'll see The Handsome Woman's next mistake. This will mark the first of a series of shows filmed by Mike Merli to be released on DVD-Rs in short runs for you to later remember why that job/spouse/kid make you miserable because you once had it so good. Expect beer bread, again. Best Man just threw up 2 rough tracks with vocals on myspace.com/bestmannh. They might be putting out a tape with OHYM in the future. This show is going to be the jam.
The Enzuigiri test presses came to Matt Barr and have been sent back with a sad face on a post-it note. We'll let you know when things are looking good again. First 20 pre-orders will receive a 7x14 screen printed poster of the artwork spread. You should go to myspace.com/enzuigiriman and let "Bomb Puncher" punish you into your final slumber. Let paypal ruin you. Sleep with the windows open. Stop updating your website stoned.
The video section is bullshit anyway, you don't need it.
There will be a Saintseneca cassette release. Nothing else to say about it. Should be 4-6 songs and perfect.
New albums in the download section:
David F Bello - Tall Tree
Edhochuli - Is One Word
Who Goes There? - S/T
Reformatting the video section is proving to be more difficult than it should be. Sorry for the delay of shit you won't watch.
The Enzuigiri 7" should be going to the plant soonish. We may or may not have something cool for the 2 people who might consider pre-ordering it.
This may or may not be the cover:

New albums in the download section:
Post-Modern Sounds - Literal Tension (post punk stuff, young young kids playing like The Minutemen)
Weed Hounds - Demo (shoegaze-ish indie / pop punk vaguely similar to Lemuria)
Website is back again and I definitely took my fucking time for no reason. I spent a lot of time over-designing the layout, then decided to spend way too much time under-designing it. So here you go, plain & boring shit. I've added a store for OHYM releases and distro items, a forum, a listing of CT DIY shows, and will work to expand the free download's archive. If your band has released something that is available for a free download and it doesn't suck, I'll add it to the archive.
A list of release that have come out:
004 Bombs Away! - Do You Know Where Josh Bell Is? (CD)
008 Old Hannah - Bright World (CD)
Both are available at shows, in the store, and as a free download.
A list of release that will be coming soon:
005 Book Slave - All Bad Things (CD)
007 Old Age - Cave City (CS)
009 Hosebeast - Sleptember (CS)
010 Enzuigiri - s/t (7")
More information will be posted on the upcoming releases as I make up that information.
