OHYM is a boredom induced life support system / community for independent arts with too much ambition and not enough follow / money to live up the dreams of one overweight 25 year old dude in Willimantic, CT.

I started OHYM as a free hand made CD-R label in Fall '08. Shit has now evolved into whatever I want it to be including but not limited to putting out CD's / tapes / vinyl, setting up shows, poor quality videos, offering free downloads of music I don't have permission to offer for free, not having a website for months at a time, etc.

I want the new OHYM site to become not just a web presence for OHYM acitivities & typos, but also a "web community" for any like minded DIY-centric heads to share their art / music / ideas with others. I'm going to attempt to keep a database of albums that bands offer for free downloads, post news about music happenings that I give a shit about, blog while drunk, list DIY/Buttflap CT shows, and other ambitious shit that this 12 pack of Beast isn't allowing me to wax poetically via html properly.
